Cocktail Preparation & Service Course

The Cocktail Course is designed for people looking to enter the hospitality industry that require basic skills training in preparing, mixing and serving cocktails, the 4 hour course covers: 

  • Cocktail styles, including shake and strain, muddling and building;
  • Mixing, creating, garnishing, and tasting your cocktail;
  • Different types of mixers, spirits, and alcohol;
  • How to make famous cocktails served at the bar;
  • Learn using real alcohol and taste your drinks;
  • Cleaning and maintenance of equipment.

 

If you want to work in a bar or serve alcohol anywhere in Australia, the law requires that you have an RSA Certificate. Please wear closed toe shoes to the class. You must be over 18 years of age to attend this course.

 

National Accreditation

This program is based on the nationally accredited Unit of Competence ‘ Prepare and serve cocktails' (SITHFAB303) by the Australian National Training Authority.
